Andrea Anders

Anders is a native of Madison, Wisconsin, and lived within DeForest, Wisconsin, but she is now living in Los Angeles. She has graduated from DeForest Area High School in DeForest, Wisconsin in 1993 She also earned the Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in 1997. In 2001, she graduated with an MA in Fine Arts at Rutgers University. Anders was involved in a romantic relationship in a relationship with Matt LeBlanc (whom she met at the set of Joey) and her co-star from the cancelled show. Anders' brother is director Sean Anders (Sex Drive, Never Been Thawed). In 2001, Anders began her career as a theatre actress. She understudied Mary Louise Parker on Broadway in Proof. Later, in The Graduate she played Elaine Robinson. On the Jump appeared on the Arena Stage. New Doors was performed in the Guthrie Theater. Cold/Tender as and New World Rhapsody are two New York Stage & Film performances. Anders debuted in Fat Pig, a Geffen Playhouse show. She played the part of Jeannie the accountant. Fat Pig closed on July 1st of 2007. Anders first appearance on television was in the Dannon advertisement which ran through the mid-90s. Then she appeared on TV again in 2006. Anders Most well-known roles include Nicole Allen, a former husband of a professional footballer, as in The Class and Joey as Alex Garrett (a lawyer). The actress was in every episode of both shows, however they were cancelled. Anders' guest appearances include One Life to Live (as Donna Degenhart), Law & Order (as Heather), The Guiding Light and Tru Calling. Anders was featured in five episodes of the HBO the drama Oz as Donna Degenhart in 2003, and made a minor appearance in the 2004 film The Stepford Wives, playing her character Heather, and the 2008 movie Sex Drive as Brandy. Anders has also been seen on Numb3rs in the year 2008. Anders played in two failed television pilots. Spellbound, News To Me. Anders made an appearance in Better Off Ted for ABC The show is a comedy featuring just one camera. The script was written by Victor Fresco.
